Author Biography Michelle Beaudry got out of the Slam Club, and it wasn't easy. Born and
raised in a contentious home, arguing was normalcy to her, though she knew
it
wasn't normal. Despite many productive years in show business and the arts,
she still wasn't happy.
"I remember sitting in my living room surrounded by Slammers thinking, 'I
don't like these people. I don't want them in my life, so what are they
doing
in my house?'"
As owner and author of Laffbooks, she has released a number of humor books
including "Travellers Laffbook - 50 Reasons To Stay Home, Starting with
Alabama," "How to Tell If You're Dead - Because You Just Never Know,"
"Blonde
Jokes from the Original Collection," "Viagra - A View From a Pill," "The
One
& Only Thing Men Ever Really Really Want," and "101 Ways To Tempt Fate."
She
sells these books directly to the public after her standup comedy nightclub
shows.
Beaudry's performance credits include over twenty years in comedy as a
comic,
a few years in music as a singer, and a decade in musical theater as a
composer and lyricist. Now she enters the writer/speaker arena with her
first
self-help book, "The Slam Club - Want To Change Your Life? Change Your
Friends"
